e Grandorado TN x-Carthago-Stakatto-Grannus
Lamaze TN seems to have all the ingredients to follow in the footsteps of his famous and successful sire Grandorado TN. Ridden by Kars Bonhof, Lamaze TN is already showing his enormous talent; he jumps with exceptional scope, shows lots of quality on the jump, and has the instinct to jump clear. At the international level, Lamaze TN has already jumped many impressive rounds in the young horse classes.
Sire Grandorado TN is undoubtedly one of the most talented showjumpers in the world. With Willem Greve, he jumped double clear in three CSIO5* Nations Cups in a row: in Rome, Rotterdam and Knokke. Due to a very unfortunate injury of Willem Greve, Grandorado TN missed out on participation in the World Championships in Herning, but the pair celebrated their comeback with a victory in the Grand Prix of Leeuwarden. In breeding, Grandorado TN impresses with offspring with huge scope, blood, and quality – all features Lamaze TN possesses as well.
Lamaze TN’s dam Valerie combines the foundation sires Carthago, Stakkato, and Grannus in her pedigree. In breeding, she was already extremely successful. Her Westphalian approved son Diathago jumps at 1.55m level with top rider Marcus Ehning and looks set to make his appearance at the very highest level. Valerie’s progeny Pilothago TN and Crocodile Dundee also achieved great results at international level. Pilothago TN is approved as a premium stallion by Westfalia and has also achieved successes in breeding. Lamaze TN’s granddam Sera del Castegno was mainly used for breeding in Italy, where she produced several international offspring, including the 1.60m showjumper Maximo del Castegno.
The powerfully jumping Lamaze TN looks like he could be an asset for breeding thanks to his jumping talent, interesting pedigree and excellent damline. In his younger years, Lamaze TN stayed in the Czech Republic, where he was also convincingly declared the champion of the stallion show.
