e Kashmir van het Schutteshof-Mylord Carthago-Landor S-Pilot
King Kashmir’s sire Kashmir van Schuttershof is one of the most successful stallions in the world. After a successful career at the highest level with Philippe Le Jeune, the Nabab de Rêve son became one of the best stallions in Belgium. His most famous offspring is without doubt former European champion and Olympic silver medallist H&M All In ridden by Sweden’s Peder Fredricson. But also Aachen winner Gazelle ridden by Kent Farrington, Olympic team gold winner Reveur de Hurtebise HDC ridden by Kevin Staut. King Kashmir’s grandsire Mylord Carthago was ridden by Pénélope Leprévost among the best showjumpers in France for many years and has left his mark in breeding.
Although the pedigree of King Kashmir TN suggests a Belgian origin, King Kashmir TN was bred out of a true German performance damline. The DSP-bred stallion goes back to an originally Westphalian damline. Granddam Pret-A-Porter produced the DSP premium stallion Esplendido and Detlef Kaiser Jr’s jumping talent Pippi Lotta. Great-granddam Pyrah is a successful Pilot-daughter and produced the Grand Prix jumping mare Pandora, the approved stallions Apiro and River Phoenix and the successful 1.40m showjumper Perle. Pyrah is also granddam of the Grand Prix showjumping horses Annabella 7, Prince Nandor, Paraplui, Windline and Zandiro.
At the DSP stallion approval, King Kashmir TN made a huge impression with his appearance, easy way of moving and especially his fantastic way of jumping. King Kashmir jumps with the withers up, again and again, showing great use of the body and an excellent technique. As his pedigree predicts, King Kashmir TN shows unlimited scope.
